Not a Real Poll

Rudy Giuliani’s strength in the right-wing blogosphere, according to this fairly large straw poll of, er, the people who bothered participating in the straw poll, is impressive.

Hardly scientific, but Slant Point observes: “[B]loggers and blog readers tend to be rank-and-file Republican activists who lean more conservative. I wonder how much this says that conservative Republicans may overlook Giuliani’s stances in favor of his leadership and strength qualities.”

(And semi-relatedly, on the real poll front, Wayne Barrett’s understandably ill-tempered explanation of what’s actually going on in the Mayor’s race is a must-read.) Not a Real Poll
