A Division of Youth and Family Services (DYFS) caseworker wants CWA members interested in helping elect Jon Corzine for Governor to sign up at her desk — at least that’s what Tina Lee used her state computer to suggest in a blast e-mail to DYFS employees in Gloucester County.
From: Tina Lee <Tina.Lee@dhs.state.nj.us> Organization: New Jersey Department of Human Services To: DYFS-GLO Users <email@example.com> I went to the Union meeting last night. Those of you who are interested in making phone calls, holding up signs supporting Corzine for governor and knocking on doors to encourage people to vote, please come to my desk to sign up. Interested parties are to meet at the Garden State Park in Cherry Hill, New Jersey at 9:00 A.M. From what I was told, you are required to participate in whatever capacity chosen from 9:00 A.M. to approximately 3:00 P.M. UNFORTUNATELY you will only get paid $50.00 as opposed to $75.00 for your participation. However, it is IMPERATIVE that we as an agency support those candidates that support the efforts of the Division. Your participate is needed to make this event a SUCCESS. PLEASE consider investing your time. This is your time to make a difference. Don’t huddle in your cubicles and complain, TAKE A STANCE. For those who already signed up, please see me to let me know if you are still interested and for those who have not yet signed up please do so. Thank you.
