Who’s winning the battle of the front pages?
The Post has the best tab story of the day, about Lil’ Kim rapping behind bars. Unfortunately, it’s crammed in a little side box in yet another fruit-salad front page, dominated by yet another huge promo for Post Poker. Note to the Post: Printing the house ad big doesn’t make the game any less crummy.
The Daily News does nothing fancy with the mayoral debate, but at least it respects the basic rules of tabloid layout. And unlike the Post, it uses verbs.
