For all of our Phoenix readers, The Arizona Republic is reporting that there is an open house today at John McCain’s 11,000-square-foot estate.
The senator has been having a tough time selling the home, and just reduced the price from $4.25 to $3.75 million. Even a cover story in Architectural Digest didn’t help.
So, what do you get for a few million? Well, according to the listing, the southwest style home is situated on over two acres of land. There are nine bedrooms, eight baths, and a pool.
Of course, Mr. McCain will say he is just “downsizing.” However, more cynical minds believe he is already eyeing a move to Pennsylvania Avenue in about three years.
