The Staten Island District Attorney won’t be challenging Jeanine Pirro for the Republican nomination for Attorney General.
“While I am confident that my qualifications and abilities are equal to that of any candidate in the race, it is my belief that the advanced date of the political calendar would not allow me to put together the type of campaign I believe my supporters deserve; through a divisive primary and general election,” he says in a statement.
