The once lively comment section on Eliot’s campaign blog is, sigh, no more. The Politcker had been a fan of the comment section there and routinely dropped in to see what kind of feedback they were getting.
Another website tried to rescue the comments and speculates why it was put out to pasture.
“One of the last comments placed on Spitzer’s discussion board, before he shut the whole works down, ripped into his selection of state Sen. David Paterson,” Ed Moltzen writes on his blog. One rescued comment calls David a joke because of a law enforcement bill he has now rescinded.
Eliot’s people say the section was removed as a first step in a total redesign of the site.
