Statement from Pataki communciations director David Catalfamo:
“This morning at approximately 9 am, Governor Pataki was moved from Hudson Valley Hospital in Cortlandt Manor to New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University Medical, Millstein Hospital in Manhattan.
“The facility transfer, which took place under routine conditions, was decided on jointly by the medical professionals of both institutions as a precautionary measure after regular and extensive consultations to ensure that the Governor is in the most comprehensive facility available as his recovery continues.”
When politics meets medicine, the language always gets fuzzy. But “routine conditions” sounds like a hedge.
