There was a minute in 2002 when having worked for the CIA looked like it might actually be a positive entry on a candidate’s resume. Zachary Greenhill, who was running for State Assembly on the Upper East Side, played his time working for the agency in Latin America as a security credential.

He lost anyway, but a reader writes that Greenhill is now taking a look at a judgeship, having requested an application for the Independent Judicial Screening Panel for a vacant Upper East Side/Chelsea Civil Court Seat.
