Also in The Villager (article not yet online), it looks like N.Y.U. is eyeing yet another property in the East Village for yet another dorm. This time, at 10th Street and Third Avenue. While the school neither confirms or denies it, Community Board 3 district manager Susan Stezer told the newspaper that she had talks with the school’s director of government and community affairs in which it was confirmed that N.Y.U. “definitely wants it.”
The property is two and a half blocks away from the former site of St. Ann’s Church, where N.Y.U. is building a 26-story, 700-student dorm.
