The New Robert Moses
Donald Trump donated 436 acres of land in Westchester and Putnam counties this morning–land that he had tried to turn into an 18-hole golf course and country club but failed in the face of community opposition. Ah, but the neighbors are not rid of him yet. We imagine Trump gets some sort of tax relief as a result. More importantly, he gets to put his name on something. The new park will be called the Donald J. Trump State Park.
