Despite John Spencer’s appeal for a united front in the race against Hillary Clinton, KT McFarland–seemingly energized by her 36% of delegate votes–took the stage and vowed “We are ready and eager to challenge Mrs. Clinton.”
The “we” in this case was not her and Spencer working together but her own campaign. “I can beat him in a primary,” she told us afterwards.
But if she wants to take on Mrs. Clinton she better work on her delivery. While McFarland steered clear of any references to flatulation, the jokes she told in her speech a couple of minutes ago fell flat.
“She’s (Hillary) better known in Albania then I am in Albany.”
And:
“I suggest she not start eyeing the White House China just yet.”
