Corzine’s out of state campaign contributions are down

Since taking office in January, Governor Jon Corzine has cut back on his contributions to federal candidates and political action committees. He gave $559,000 in 2004-2005, but just $111,200 this year. Corzine gave $100,000 to a 527 political committee run by the Democratic Governors Association, $4,200 to Assemblywoman Linda Stender’s congressional campaign, $2,000 to the re-election campaign of Michigan Senator Debbie Stabenow, and $5,000 to the Rocky Mountain PAC.
