For anyone who missed his tireless, Ahab-like efforts on the subject over the past few days, Observer alumnus Greg Sargent finally managed to extract a (sort-of) admission of c.v. inflation from Karl Zinsmeister, the former legislative assistant to Pat Moynihan who was recently named Assistant to the President on Domestic Policy.
Zinsmeister, the former editor-in-chief of The American Enterprise, was credited in a White House press release with founding the magazine.
As it turns out, he didn’t.
