Stretching Donor Dollars

We’ve been thinking a fair bit around about here about why Mark Green’s “recidivist” donors keep giving and giving and giving. (See Anna’s story in this week’s Observer.)

Ben uncovers another possible explanation: Green spends their money frugally.

Apparently, he expended his funds reluctantly enough to have had $400,000 left from his unsuccessful 1998 Senate campaign to roll over to his 2001 mayoral bid.
