Hillary’s fund-raising numbers continue to impress: her campaign just announced that they raised an additional $5,679,413 in the last three months, and that more than 90% of those contributions came in the form of donations of under $100. She now has a comfortable $22 million on hand.
Coincidentally, we were just talking with John Catsimatidis, one of the bigtime fundraisers who helped her get there. He has a simple explanation for their success, though not one that necessarily fits in with the campaign’s “all about ’06” message”:
“They are professionals. You don’t have amateurs running presidential campaigns.”
