Nolan to head Consumer Affairs

Governor Jon Corzine is expected to name ex- Highland Park Councilman Stephen Nolan as the Acting Director of the state Division of Consumer Affairs. He will replace Kim Ricketts, who will assume the post of Administrator of the Department of Law and Public Safety — a powerful job that involves overseeing the financial operations of the Attorney General’s office. Ricketts replaces Thomas O’Reilly, who is retiring after 35 years in state government.
