Eliot Spitzer was unruffled by last night’s televised town hall appearance with two rivals.
“There’s been a lot of pessimism tonight. There’s been a lot of negative talk about how dire our circumstances are. And they’re serious, and that is why we need to turn things around,” Spitzer said. “But at the bottom of all this, I’m an optimist.”
