Eliot Spitzer was unruffled by last night’s televised town hall appearance with two rivals.
“There’s been a lot of pessimism tonight. There’s been a lot of negative talk about how dire our circumstances are. And they’re serious, and that is why we need to turn things around,” Spitzer said. “But at the bottom of all this, I’m an optimist.”
Jacob Gershman notes that a lot of that pessimism is about the state under George Pataki’s tenure.
Sean Maloney told Andrew Cuomo to “cowboy up” and attend more debates, like the one Cuomo skipped last night at RNN.
And Mark Green’s daughter apologized for sending out some unflattering emails to elected officials not backing her dad.
