Two of Larry Silverstein’s insurers–Zurich American and Employers Insurance of Wausau–have said they will give their money to the Port Authority to build the Freedom Tower, as laid out in the April rejiggering at Ground Zero, according to statements from Governor Pataki and Mayor Bloomberg today. That leaves five other companies who are still holding out: Allianz, Industrial Risk, Travelers Indemnity, Royal Indemnity and Gulf Insurance.
