The Atlantic Yards Draft Environmental Impact Statement finds that the Pacific Branch of the Brooklyn Public Library would:
experience significant adverse impacts from noise associated with the Site 5 construction activities between 2007 and 2009, including demolition, utility work, and above-ground construction of structures. The thresholds in the 2001 CEQR Technical Manual would be exceeded during the weekday and weekend days for all three years, and during weekday nights for 2008 and 2009. (PDF)
