A mere hour after cinematically screaming for an epidural, Nancy Dubuc, 37, the senior vice president of program development at A&E television, gave birth to a substantial-sized daughter with a full head of bushy brown hair. “One push and she came flying out!” said Ms. Dubuc, married for nine years to Michael Kizilbash, 41, creative director at Juice Pharma, an advertising agency. “The poor doctor didn’t even have a chance to get her scrubs on.” Little Alice joins brother Jackson, 3, an exceedingly polite little chap. “One day he came over with one of his Nerf bats and asked if he could hit her,” Mom reported. “I said no and that was the end of it. It was very formal, a very literal moment.” The family is currently renovating their Chelsea three-bedroom, sparing no expense to keep the grown-ups’ TV room—after all, it’s a tax deduction! And “I don’t want to spend the next five years watching Blue’s Clues,” Ms. Dubuc said.
