Bill Clinton appears to be one of the factors contributing to Hillary’s negative numbers in that Manhattanville poll surveying Hillary’s popularity among women voters.
“Another frequent personal negative that carried forward from 2000 relates to her relationship with her husband,” says the poll, which points out that Hillary’s numbers improved overall since 2000.
“She tolerates William,” complained one woman who apparently would not tolerate him. “She’s married to him. Don’t agree with the personal life,” complained another.
Not all the women polled felt that way, of course, after all – even 40 percent of Republican woman had a favorable opinion of Hillary.
“She’s formidable, can hang in with the boys, has attitude,” one woman said.
Ben has more on the poll over here.
