Menendez’s lead comes in part from a pronounced advantage among female voters, who favor him by 57-34.

Menendez also leads among independent voters, 47-43%, while Kean leads among men by 54-40%.

And in statistic that could probably be applied to just about every statewide campaign in New Jersey that I can think of, respondents, by a margin of 74-14, said that this year’s campaign is “dirty.”
