Dems to Corzine: Stay home, cut taxes

Some high ranking Democrats are privately grousing that Governor Jon Corzine is spending time on fact finding missions to Iraq at the expense of working to resolve New Jersey’s property tax crisis. Corzine is widely viewed to have presidential aspirations, which may be derailed if he does not fulfill his pledge to reduce property taxes and clean up corruption in Trenton — something that one Democratic leader suggests may be difficult to do from Baghdad.
