Here’s one cog in the Barack Obama machinery: 29-year-old Carl Polgar of Tennessee standing outside a rally in Norristown, PA., on Saturday.

Polgar, and others, follows Obama everywhere and sells buttons and t-shirts touting him as not just a presidential candidate…but as Superbama.

Since Phish and the Grateful Dead aren’t touring, it’s the next best thing. And the money goes to a slightly more worthy cause then hemp farmers since the Democratic National Convention gets a cut of the sales.

And unlike the over-simplistic Red State/Blue State maps Polgar and his button and t-shirt business 100% purple.
