Hegemonic brokerage Prudential Douglas Elliman is among those companies that block employees from using social networking sites like MySpace.com and Facebook.com on company computers.
A clearly chagrined Elliman employee Josh Erich, 25, told The Wall Street Journal that the brokerage’s sudden decision to block the sites irked a lot of people.
“Everyone was pretty peeved,” says Mr. Erich. “Even the managers seemed a little upset.”
