The Legislative Database website, which, as the name suggests, tracks state legislation throughout the nation, has just added New York to its database.
It’s a refreshingly easy-to-use site whose keyword search functions will be manageable for anyone who knows how to use Google.
It will also allow for side-by-side comparisons of what different state governments are doing on any given issue. So Albany’s dysfunction (or maybe its new post-Day 1 efficiency) can be put in cold, hard context.
