The Democratic Assemblyman, waging an uphill fight against a 10-term GOP Congressman, had a good campaign week, including a Trenton Times editorial that was extremely tough on Rep. Chris Smith’s refusal to debate.

 

The Hudson County Democratic insider has been subpoenaed by a federal grand jury amidst allegations that Democratic insider David Chang received special treatment while spending four days in the Hudson County jail awaiting arraignment.

The campaign manager for GOP House candidate Michael Ferguson was successful in painting Democrat Maryanne Connelly as a negative campaigner, despite Ferguson’s non-angelic tactics in the 1998 General Election and 2000 GOP primary.

 

The Burlington County Democratic Chairman was unable to find a consensus candidate for Freeholder; the party tied 82-82 on a vote to fill a vacancy.
