Passaic County Republicans will support attorney Jay Webber in his bid for State Assembly in the 26th district, giving him their organization line in the June primary. Webber, former Kinnelon Council President Lawrence Casha, and millionaire developer Anthony Pio Costa are facing off for the open seat of Joseph Pennacchio. Pennacchio is running for the State Senate seat being vacated by Robert Martin.
Assembly Minority Leader Alex DeCroce, seeking re-election in the 26th, was also endorsed by the Passaic County GOP. The district is predominately made up of Morris County towns, where there is no organization line.
