10:45 a.m. Actor Don Cheadle and human rights activist John Prendergast will discuss their efforts to end genocide in Darfur at the Simon Wiesenthal Center's New York Tolerance Center, 226 East 42nd Street between Second and Third avenues.

11 a.m. The city’s Land Use Committee will hold a public hearing about using eminent domain at the Underground Railroad site at City Hall.

11 a.m. Deirdre Imus, president of the Deirdre Imus Environmental Center for Pediatric Oncology, will discuss an East Harlem neighborhood collaboration to fight asthma and respiratory disease at 2265 Third Avenue at 123rd Street.

Noon. Actor Danny Glover will attend rally in support of immigrant garment workers at the Fashion Kiosk, 39th Street and Seventh Avenue.

1 p.m. St. Francis College will celebrate the 40th anniversary of the landmark voter's rights lawsuit, Cooper vs. Power, at St. Francis College, 180 Remsen Street, in Brooklyn Heights.

2 p.m. Activists will hold an interfaith prayer service, rally and march for immigrant families, starting at the Judson Memorial Church, 55 Washington Square South. At 2:30, the group will rally at Washington Square park and march to Union Square for an immigrant rights rally.

5 p.m. The city’s Department of Environmental Protection will host a community forum on water and sewer account holders at the Borough of Manhattan Community College, 199 Chambers Street between West Side Highway and Greenwich Street.

6:30 p.m. CapitalHQ hosts a screening of the documentary, "Islam vs. Islamists: Voices From The Muslim Center, " at the Regal Union Square Stadium 14, 850 Broadway. A discussion with the filmmakers will be held after the screening.
