Lobbying Power of Former Politicians

Some politician is more powerful when they leaves office. Some aren’t.

Today’s story in the Staten Island Advance have an example of both.

The group looking to build a race track on Staten Island had hired Guy Molinari as a lobbyist to push the plans through. It failed.

Now, in order to sell the property (for a tidy profit), the International Speedway Corp., has hired a different lobbyist: Peter Vallone, Sr.
