10 a.m. Former U.S. Surgeon General Dr. Richard Carmona will keynote Bronx Community College’s commencement ceremony at West 181at Street and University Avenue, in the Bronx.

10 a.m. Hilary Swank will kick off the 2007 Blue Planet Run around-the-world relay to raise funds and awareness for safe drinking water projects at the United Nations, 46th Street and First Avenue.

11 a.m. Elected officials will call for an investigation of the Croton Water Filtration Project being built under Van Cortland Park at City Hall.

11:30 a.m. Manhattan Borough President Scott Stringer will keynote the Borough of Manhattan Community College commencement ceremony at The WaMu Theater at Madison Square Garden, Seventh Avenue and 32nd Street.

Noon. Senators Malcolm A. Smith and John Sampson, North Shore-LIJ Health System and the Links, Inc. kick off a health awareness campaign, featuring information and testing on AIDS/HIV, stroke, and kidney disease prevention, at the Robert Couche Senior Center, 137-57 Farmers Boulevard, in Springfield Gardens, New York.

2 p.m. The ribbon cutting for 120-unit low-income apartment building will be held at Abeken Apartments, 810 East 152nd Street, in the Bronx.

3:30 a.m. Joseph Santora and his lawyer, Robert McKay, will discuss their lawsuit against Sheldon Silver and Michael Boxley which seeks to have them repay the state $480,000 in taxpayer money spent to settle a sexual misconduct lawsuit against Boxley, at 400 East 56th Street.

Hillary Clinton will campaign in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Barack Obama will fundraise in Seattle, Washington.

Mitt Romney will campaign in Delaware

John McCain will fundraise in Memphis, Tennessee.
