11 a.m. Commissioner Adrian Benepe and City Council Member Miguel Martinez attend a ribbon-cutting ceremony on a new synthetic turf field at Marble Hill Playground on Marble Hill Avenue between West 228th and West 230th streets in the Bronx.

12 p.m. More than 500 motorcyclists deliver — ready for it? — diapers for the 12th Annual Bikers for Babies drive at the Hale House on West 122nd Street.

12 p.m. Peace Action of Staten Island holds peace rally at Tappen Park, between Bay and Water streets, in Staten Island.
