Ho-ho-ho-Hamptons! You just know that any party with the theme “Vegas, Baby, Vegas” has to be good, right? The annual Love Heals benefit for the Alison Gertz Foundation for AIDS Education takes place at a private horse (giddy-yap!) farm in Sagaponack. Expect many sexy ladies dripping with summer’s moist embrace …. Meanwhile, a scooter’s ride away in East Hampton, there’s a cocktail party for the Hampton Designer Showhouse, with proceeds going to Southampton Hospital (fractured tennis wrists and face-lifts!). Back here in Manhattan, Observer illustrator extraordinaire Drew Friedman signs copies of his new anthology, The Fun Never Stops! (it sure doesn’t!), at the Museum of Cartoons and Comic Art Convention, which is in full swing at the Puck building. And lastly, if your dream was to be a Knicks City Dancer (whose isn’t?) but the team has crushed your spirit (understandable), why not audition for the Brooklyn-bound Nets? There will be open auditions today for the 2007-2008 squad in scenic East Rutherford. Put on your pushup and your Spanx and bring a good sexual-harassment attorney!
