The work done by Dreyer Boyajian is connected to the federal investigation currently looking into whether Joe Bruno used his influence to help a contributor secure state funding.

Bruno’s payments to Dreyer Boyajian were first noted a few months ago when Bruno went public with the investigation. Payments to the firm initially came out of a committee Bruno controlled, the NYS Senate Republican Campaign Committee, to the tune of $2,400.

According to the latest figures with the state Board of Elections, the law firm has now collected a total of $148,617.42 from that committee and Bruno’s personal campaign committee, the Committee to Re-Elect Senator Bruno.
