Here are some highlights from the recent campaign numbers posted on the state Board of Elections web site.
One of the city’s only Republican state Senators, Frank Padavan, of Queens, has a hefty $127,381.20 on hand and has been spreading the money around, including donating $100 to the Independence Party.
The New York County Republican Organization has $95,902.70 on hand, thanks to $10,000 contributions from people such as former state G.O.P. leader, Sandy Treadwell.
Larry Silverstein donated $10,000 to the Democratic Assembly Campaign Committee, which helped cover the cost of those expensive polls done by the private polling firm Kiley and Company for the committee.
