Del Tufo still has his job

Robert Del Tufo, designated by PoliticsNJ.com in December 2006 as the New Jerseyan most likely to lose his job in 2007, still has his job. Governor Jon Corzine's office says they were mistaken when they announced this morning that former U.S. Attorney, New Jersey Attorney General and Democratic gubernatorial candidate, would be replaced as Chairman of the embattled University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey Board of Trustees by Thomas Jackson. Jackson, the Democratic State Assembly candidate in the 25th district two years ago, will chair the UMDNJ Board of Directors of University Hospita — not Del Tufo's job, as previously announced.
