Where Diddy at? Former couple Russell and Kimora Lee Simmons kiss and make up at their Easternmost mansion to fete urban arts education. Now in its eighth year, the Art for Life benefit (otherwise known as the celebrity circus of the summer) aims to “teach people you don’t have to be old and stuffy to donate to philanthropic organizations.” Um, okay, then! Formerly the “white” party, this year it’s a “Not So Mellow Yellow” party, which means you can expect the “on loan” designer duds will be buttercup-hued. We’re gonna wear our favorite fanny pack for this party, which happens to be sponsored by Land Rover and will be attended by The Last King of Scotland star Forest Whitaker (who will be honored for his donations and for his general Oscar-fabulousness) and the star of MTV’s Run’s House, Joseph “Rev. Run” Simmons, along with his wife, Justine, and children, Vanessa, Angela, JoJo, Russy and Diggy. Whew! Back on this island, the Swiss come out to play at an all-day festival of Swiss food, music and hilarity at the Hudson River Park’s Pier 54. Expect a speech by Swiss Ambassador Christoph Bubb (“Who you lookin’ at, bub?”) and appearances by “champion Swiss wrestlers” and “Switzerland’s famous clown.” Run for your lives!
