Rudy Giuliani, for one, isn’t yet prepared to write off the presidential prospects of John McCain.
When just asked him just now at a press conference in Concord, NH for his reaction to the resignations this morning of McCain’s campaign manager and senior strategist, Giuliani played it off as a standard mid-campaign adjustment.
“Look, changes happen in a campaign,” he said.
He added, “It’s just way too early for anybody to be written off. John McCain is a fighter.”
And this: “I expect John to be right there and waging a really tough campaign.”
