Comfy cats? We got some! The Bide-a-Wee shelter celebrates the opening of its new luxurious “Kitty Cat Habitat,” which a shelter rep explained is “a large room they’ve cleaned out and fixed up with bridges, ledges, cat-friendly toys and windows so they’re no longer caged animals. They created it so the cats would be very happy.” And who wouldn’t want that? She went on to say there’d be a trainer to “introduce cats to potential adopters, and there will probably be refreshments.” Fingers crossed! Meanwhile, out at the McCarren Park Pool in Greenpoint, the place to live if you think you are 10 percent less annoying than Williamsburg people, indie darlings TV on the Radio will perform for the half-baked masses. Oh winter hibernation, we miss you so.
