10 a.m. The Police Athletic League Sports Day 2007 will take place at Riverbank State Park, West 145th Street and Riverside Drive.

10 a.m. The Jamaica Bay Watershed Protection Plan Advisory Committee and Gateway National Recreation Area will release a report on marsh loss in Jamaica Bay at the Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center on Cross Bay Boulevard.

1 p.m. The groundbreaking for 63 new sports fields on Randall's Island will take place at Icahn Stadium, Randall's Island Park.

2:45 p.m. Hunger advocates and elected officials will celebrate the launch of The Farm Fresh Project, an initiative to connect low-income residents with local farm produce at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine, 110th Street and Amsterdam Avenue.

7:30 p.m. Drinking Liberally will host a bar social at Rudy’s, 627 9th Avenue between 44th and 45th streets.
