9:30 a.m. Sen. Ruben Diaz and members of the New York Hispanic Clergy Organization will protest abortions as part of the 40 Days for Life campaign at Dr. Emily's Clinic, 560 Southern Boulevard at the corner of East 149th Street, in the Bronx.

11:30 a.m. Comptroller William Thompson Jr. will release a report on health disparities based on income at the Municipal Building, 1 Centre Street at Chambers Street.

5 p.m. Sen. Barack Obama will speak at a campaign rally at Washington Square Park.
