Is Kean Sr. using Steve Ayscue’s talking points?

As Tom Kean, Jr. continues his underground campaign for Senate Minority Leader, raising money for Republican State Senate candidates, you have to wonder whether his father got the memo on GOP talking points. Former Governor Thomas Kean told the Star-Ledger on Thursday that he didn't expect Republicans to win control of the Legislature: "As I look at the race, the Republicans have better candidates in key districts, but people are so mad at the Bush Administration they may be inclined to punish candidates at the state level. This election wil be an uphill fight for Republicans," Kean said, noting that while corruption and taxes benefit the GOP, "the noise from Washington may drown them out."
