Mark Alexander was dumped as the national Policy Director for Barack Obama's presidential campaign, and has been offered the post as state director of Obama's New Jersey campaign as a face saving consolation prize, according to sources involved in Obama's garden state campaign — and according to common sense. Alexander took a leave of absence from his job as a Seton Hall University Law Professor to work for Obama.
