More bid rig sentences

Three more officials convicted in Operation Bid Rig were sentenced today.

Former Long Branch Councilman John Zambrano will head to prison on December 10th to serve four months, after which he will serve another four months of home confiment and pay a $1,000 fine.

Former Mounmouth County Division of Transporation operations manager Joseph McCurnin was sentenced to three months in prison, three months home confinement and pay a $3,000 fine.

Former Neptune Deputy Mayor Richard Iadanza got four months in prison and four months of home confinement along with a $4,000 fine.

All three officials had pleaded guilty to extortion and cooperated with the FBI’s investigation, earning them their relatively light prison sentences.
