O’Toole heads to Newark

Assemblyman Kevin O’Toole wants to demonstrate that Republicans are not the party of suburban complacency, and to that end he will stand beside Newark Mayor Cory Booker at 311 WashingtonStreet in the Police and City Fire Buildingon Thursday.

"For far too long, Republicans have ignored urban initiatives," said O’Toole, who won a District 40 state Senate primary in June.

O’Toole says he wants to work with Booker on a summit to address urban problems, including crime and inadequate education. O’Toole heads to Newark
