Same rules for Paul?

Bergen County Democratic Chairman Joseph Ferriero says that Democrat Gordon Johnson should pick which office he wants to hold: Assemblyman from the 37th district, or Councilman from Englewood. But Ferriero has not called for Bergen County's other dual officeholder to choose, and its not likely that Democrat Paul Sarlo will be asked to pick between serving in the State Senate or being the Mayor of Wood-Ridge.

Ferriero, who is feuding with Johnson and his ally, State Senator Loretta Weinberg, has no apparent beef with Sarlo. And unlike Johnson, who called for a dual officeholding ban but still won't quit on of the offices he held, Sarlo never suggested that holding two public offices was wrong.
