Democratic consultant Arnie Linhardt had the good fortune of picking up his home phone recently and participating in a poll.
He says that after a few questions about presidential politics, he was asked, “Will you vote for Eliot Spitzer for re-election or is it time for a change?”
Then, according to Linhardt, the conversation went like this:
Arnie: He’s got another three and a half years in his term. That’s kind of silly question.
Pollster: Yeah, that’s the reaction we’re getting from everyone we talked to.
