In case you missed it…

U.S. Attorney Christopher Christie told what The Record described as a “standing room only” crowd at the New Jersey League of Municipalities convention in Atlantic City: "If over the next couple of days someone approaches you with an envelope of cash looking to seek a favor from you, unless it is your mommy, turn and run for the ocean. It's probably us."

And the front runner for the 2009 Republican nomination for Governor had a co-headliner for his speech – Attorney General Anne Milgram, who works for Christie’s possible opponent, Governor Jon Corzine.

"If you think about that every time you pick up a free drink or take a bite of a steak, trust me, ethics will be part of your daily life," The Record reported Milgram as saying. "I know being in government is hard. Many folks don't get paid what they deserve to get paid. If you're in these jobs for the money, then you are a prime candidate for the perp walk, and either Chris or I will be happy to oblige." In case you missed it…
