Former Jersey City Mayor Bret Schundler says he will not be a candidate for Mike Ferguson's 7th district House sat in 2008. "I'm not running," Schundler told PolitickerNJ.com.
There has been speculation that the 2001 GOP gubernatorial candidate would return to Westfield, where he grew up,and seek a political comeback in a race for Congress. Schundler was the Mayor of Jersey City from 1992 to 2001.
