In recent years, the national boom in real estate was accompanied by a simultaneous boom in the media world–namely, in TV shows dedicated to te drama of high stakes real estate.
And while residential real estate has slowed down significantly in markets around the country, its television equivalent is showing no sign of flagging.
To wit: The Fine Living TV Network announced yesterday that it is launching three new shows this January that revolve around real estate, including "Dream House" on Monday, Jan. 7, "Buy Me" on Tuesday, Jan. 8, and "Bought & Sold" on Wednesday, Jan. 23.
The latter show, according to yesterday’s press release, is a docu-reality series exploring "what your seller’s real estate agent is really thinking behind that smile" and features a cast of 12 realtors in northern New Jersey, who come from a variety of backgrounds, including "acting, teaching and journalism."
